The Legend of Tyr's Tavern

THE FOUNDATION

The tavern was never meant to stay behind a screen.
What you see now is only the beginning— the first stones set, the first stories carried outward.
The goal is simple in words, but not in weight:
To build something real.
A place you can step into, leave the noise of the world behind, and walk into something that feels… different.
Shared stories. A good drink. A fire that doesn't rush you out.

Everything here exists for that purpose.
The relics. The tone. The way it's built. None of it is accidental.
It's groundwork.

Not just a store.
A tavern—
one that, in time, will stand with its doors open.

THE RELICS

We don't sell dice.
We keep relics.
A relic has been chosen by someone before you. It carries intention. It's not manufactured for shelf volume—it's crafted because the table demands something better than plastic and indifference.
When you claim a relic from this tavern, you're not buying an item. You're taking ownership of something that was made to be wielded, not just rolled.
Some dice are rolled. These are decided upon.
A relic sits in your hand before the session starts. You know its weight. You know its sound. You know it.
That's not product design. That's ceremony.

THE PATRON MOMENT

If you've ever felt this—
The moment before the game begins. Your character sheet is ready. Your notes are there. But there's this breath. This pause. Like something's about to happen that matters.
If you've ever thought: This table deserves better than whatever was lying around.
If you've ever looked at a die and thought: This one. This one's right.
Then you're already a patron of Tyr's Tavern.
You might not have walked through the doors yet. The physical ones are still being built, brick by brick, in Iowa. But you're here.
Because a patron isn't defined by a transaction. A patron is someone who believes the game table is sacred ground. Someone who refuses the ordinary. Someone who knows that the details—the weight of the dice, the quality of the drink, the integrity of the keeper—matter.

YOU BELONG HERE

You don't need permission to be here.
This tavern isn't exclusive because it's gatekeeping. It's exclusive because not everyone understands why a relic matters more than a bargain.
But you do.
If you're reading this, you've already decided that your campaign deserves more thought than a quick Amazon click. That your game night is a ritual, not a casualty. That the keeper of the tavern should be someone who knows that character creation takes weeks, but the wrong dice set ruins the first session.
That's the only door.
We're not building this for everyone. We're building it for you.

THE CLAIMING

When you claim a relic, you're not completing a purchase order.
You're selecting something that aligns with how you play. The dice that match your character's temperament. The accessories that show you've thought about the aesthetics of your table.
Every patron who's claimed something from this tavern has stood at this crossroads: This one. This one's mine.
And now it will be carried to your table. Set down before the first roll. Known before it's thrown.
That's what claiming means.

THE FUTURE

The tavern is real.
Right now, it's a shop with carefully selected relics. Soon, it will be a place where patrons gather. Where the keeper knows your name. Where you walk in from the cold—or the heat, or the noise—and find yourself among people who understand why the table matters.
We're not making this up.
We're not performing this.
We're building it, brick by brick, in the same place where strangers become a fellowship, where dice are wielded with intention, and where the keeper knows that a tavern's real job is to make sure no one ever has to game alone.

THE INVITATION

The doors are opening.
And if you've read this far, they're opening for you.
Claim a relic. Join the tavern. Become a patron.
We'll be here.
